our solutions

Our proprietary algorithms help state and local governments calculate a per diem rate for housing federal prisoners in their local jails, as well as calculate a guard rate for transporting federal prisoners to court, JPATS airlift, or medical appointments. The guard rate is also used during remote court proceedings and stationary hospital guard duty. This software as a service (SAAS) solution ensures that state and local governments recoup their costs for housing incarcerated federal prisoners.

The i-detain algorithms are constantly evolving, incorporating fundamental pricing elements from each new federal negotiation, passing along to the user added benefits while also simplifying and streamlining the local government’s experience. Additionally, our solution is the only commercially available evaluation tool which complies with the U.S. Office of Management & Budget Circular 200; Chapter XXVIII – Department of Justice (2 CFR 200); and Section 119 of the Department of Justice Appropriations Act of 2001 (Public Law 106-553).

i-detain has a proven track record demonstrated by the many local counties and cities, in multiple states, who have successfully negotiated higher per diem rates because of using our algorithm.  With the help of i-detain, local government officials are better equipped for negotiations with the US Marshals Service and Immigration Customs & Enforcement, ultimately saving local taxpayer dollars while increasing county revenue.
